As the Head of Talent, Caitlyn leads Open Box Software’s talent acquisition function, driving recruitment and awareness strategies that support growth while strengthening the culture that defines the organisation. She is passionate about identifying individuals who embody the values that make a great “Open Boxer” — integrity, humility, openness, conscientiousness, collaboration, and initiative, as well as ensuring those individuals succeed at Open Box.
She joined Open Box in 2023 with extensive experience in tech-focused recruitment, having previously led an agency team specialising in Data & Analytics hiring. Caitlyn holds an Honours degree in Philosophy from Stellenbosch University, specialising in the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, which sparked her curiosity and passion for the tech industry.
Outside of work, she is energised by movement and the outdoors. She enjoys trail running, yoga, rock climbing and travelling, and is passionate about personal growth and building meaningful connections both professionally and personally.
