When I returned to a position of leadership at Open Box in early 2016 I did so with the intention of refocussing on the original ideas and motivations that initially inspired our company. Constantly striving to find better ways of doing things. Fast forward and we are now focused on the following three areas:
- Custom Software – We develop custom software in .Net, Business Intelligence solutions, SharePoint customizations/integration, mobile solutions and more. We are dedicated to not only developing, but also maintaining and supporting this software on an ongoing basis.
- Enterprise Solutions – We have a focus on 3rd party software, exclusively within the realm of the Real Estate industry. Specifically, MRI Software has been a huge area of interest for us in the past and will continue to be a focus for us in terms of implementation, support and maintenance. We are in the process of expanding into MRI IM, Argus and other additional 3rd party software according to our clients’ needs.
- Managed Services – We are already operating 24/7 helpdesks and we are looking to expand this to focus on cyber security, infrastructure management, IT outsourcing as well as moving into lease administration and accounting, essentially offering back office services for the Real Estate industry.
We have always been about exceptional delivery to our clients, creating win-win relationships, whilst at the same time having a fun environment that attracts the best. It’s my mission to continue with this work, growing our competencies, while growing the business geographically to take it to its full potential.
As part of our strategic roadmap moving forward, we are actively increasing our presence onshore through a US entity and a permanent presence in New York. We are very excited about launching in New York and have appointed Brendan Canny to head up the new office. Through this process, we have attracted some talented senior resources from within the Real Estate industry. Larry Schachter has joined the Open Box team in a Principal Role. Larry has a wealth of experience and insights into the complex needs of this multi-faceted industry.
